the ravenhood series have ruined all books for me. i’ll never recover from this. 8 out of 10 times, i’m mostly invested in plots when i read but fuckkk. i’m far too deeply emotionally invested with the ravenhood. i’d read this series for the first time over & over again if i could just to experience the whirlwind of emotions it put me through. while exodus is what we all wanted in the end.. i don’t know maybe i should just leave it at that but am i ready to let go of the story & characters yet?

in my hockey romance era… but this book? tops all hockey romance for me. i loved it soooo much. the character development was my favorite & their relationship? written to perfect. stevie & zanders were made for each other! the bantering & build up, was so satisfying when the ball (or in this case puck) drop. did i laugh my ass off? yes. did i sobbed like a child? absolutely. also i loved madison & zander’s friendship & adore ryan & stevies closeness!

what did i just read??? idk but my god am i deeply invested. at first i thought this was just going to be some romance / why choose situation, but now? the plot has me deeeply intrigued. this is the “shoot first, ask questions later” type of book. i cannot wait to pick up book #2.

also i’m a BIG sean’s girl 🥹 while i love dom, sean is endgame but we all know what happens when theres a golden retriever vs. morally grey man.

wretched is probably my most favorite out of the never after series so far! the story line is intriguing. the smut is still my least favorite 😂 but if you ignore the cringy smut, its worth the read solely for the plot. also a twist that it’s the fmc whose unhinged & not the mmc. i like evelina & how she doesnt stand for anyones shit. Dorothy deserved what she got coming to her!

i read the silent patient a few years ago & decided to do a reread to revisit my interest in psych thrillers. just like the first time, the ending is just wow. its like even though you already know what happened but you keep going to relive the experience & value. the silent patient will always be one of my favorite psych thrillers. while its slow pace, it’s still a page turner. every page, things & secrets start to unfold - you think you know the truth, but do you really? the build up of this story is what i love so much about it because once you get to the end - you’re left speechless.

for my TRUE bully romance lovers - this one is for yall. i don’t even think i can consider this a romance at all in my opinion 🥲 sure there was some parts of the fmc enjoying what’s being done to her, but by all means there was no romance & the title holds exactly what it means. do not tread lightly of those trigger warnings because it is very dark & unhinged. i’ve never rushed so fast to finish a book in terms of hoping for a “satisfaction” ending or if the fmc will ever get a break, idk just anything to lighten the mood a bit but boy was i hit with a heartbreak instead. the book does leave on a cliffhanger so i’m hoping its truly not the end for aspen. she deserves so fucking much more. her character may seem like the “i’m better than everyone”, but she’s been through a hell of alot to end up the way she is. even at some point, i wanted to give up for her. the author did a hell of an amazing job at breaking me with this book. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
