One of Us Is Lying by Karen M. McManus

So I truly enjoyed this book. For me the book was at a pace that was quick and kept me intrigued. I couldn’t wait to get to the next page and find out what had happened. There was a point in the end where I truly felt like I’d figured it out and then the sinister plot twist jumped out of no where. I really enjoyed this book. A great read.

Long story short.....I I didn’t hate it but the ending kinda was lack luster. That my only issue I was able to stay enticed the i got to the end and i was like wow....really? Ok. Abby is great and I actually enjoyed frances but the ending really disappointed me

Very enjoyable
I enjoyed the characters. I also enjoyed the plots develeopment or definjtwlt exceeded my expectations but i didn’t know what to expect at all. I will say personally I love the science behind mental illnesses so I wish this had a little more in depth look with the therapist and all that. But i love the climax of the story and i think it flowed together very cohesively

I will say this, I went on a book buying spree and I purchased this book without EVER reading the summary. Once I took a good look at the cover I realized I needed to be in a good place emotional before ever starting the book.
Needles to say I finished the book in a weekend. I couldn’t put it down, the writing was fuckin angelic. I think she did a great job in describing not only there mentality of Charlie but also the relationship between her and Riley. Watching their relationship develop we know what going to happen, and to makes matters worse we know SHE knows too.
I also love this book because it started right AFTER the peak of her self harm, after everything goes to shit for her. We’re seeing her after math at the same time she is.
This is not your typical love story. It’s not about a boy and a girl. It’s about a girl learning to love herself.
