This book surprised me. I read it for a class and my original perception was that it was primarily focused on how to ask good powerful questions. Then in the intro it felt more like a book with lists of examples of questions. It actually was a very light primer on coaching but several of the techniques and focus areas covered were highly relevant to my work and really useful. An excellent book.

Before "The Secret" there was Shakti Gawain's book "Creative Visualization". This is a classic how-to on using your imagination and affirmations to create the life you want. This book didn't get bogged down with a lot of science or quantum physics. Instead, this book goes right into using visualization and affirmation. It's practical and down to earth while still empowering the reader to take more control over what they create in their life. I first read this book almost 30 years ago and after rereading it, I fell in love with it all over again. This book is a must for any student of manifestation or creating your life.
