HOOKED! I started with Assassin's Blade as an intro into the series. The parts were short and sweet, and gave me a great understanding of Celaena's character and her past going into TOG.
I absolutely sobbed with the death of Sam, and the revenge that was taken from her

I read Assassin's Blade first, so alot in this book made sense to me. I'm not sure it would've been the same if I hadn't read AB first.
Throne of Glass started off with a bang, and I was already hooked and invested because of AB. TOG then got a bit slow and picked up toward the end! LOVE the characters and their relationships. Keen to see how they progress

THE ENDING!!! The penultimate chapter ripped my heart out, and the final chapter had my jaw hanging, though I had suspected it for a while.
There were a few frustrating moments for me throughout the book. But I'm thoroughly enjoying the series so far

I love all of Rebecca's books!
I enjoyed this one. However, I did expect a bit more emotion in this, that is to be expected with RY's books. This one ended up being a bit tame, I think.
The MMC is amazing, and I enjoyed the ballet subplot and all their family dynamics. Glad of the ending. But just wanted a bit more!

It was an okay read for me...
It started off quite well, but it became quite predictable 1/3 of the way through... I expected a little bit more after all the hype.
I will probably still read the next in the series

If I'm honest, I'm not sure how to feel about this book. It took me until the end to truly grasp the themes of finding your chosen family, recovery, forgiveness, strength of a different kind.. the ending was perfect.
However, I really struggled with Nesta's character in the beginning, but I suppose it's on purpose and that's why I felt she had developed so much at the end. I also struggled with it not being first person from Feyre's perspective, as I felt so connected to those characters and missed them quite a bit in this book
Overall, a good read
