Interesting. Very interesting. Why did I have to read this?

Oh my gosh I absolutely adored this! I read it because I thought it was a mistake that it was only 3 pages long, but this book is just fantastic. Existentialism in three pages. Well done.

The loveliest, most whimsical children’s book. I am so glad that this was my first read of 2024.
Jansson’s cute, but truly philosophical characters are fantastic. This is truly one of those children’s books that is not really a children’s book: it’s the perfect book for everyone- no matter your age.
I already look forward to rereading this on a sunny spring day in the garden.
I wish I could travel to this wonderful, weird little Moomin world. Absolutely lovely!
(And bonus points for the incredible original illustrations…:))
