Really interesting but written in a way that is really inaccessible. We read it in our theory book club and all of us had problems getting through the (very long) chapters. It was kind of hard to distinguish the important points out of the long passages that give historical or biographical input. There are a lot of quotes that are left untranslated, some of them take up half a page.
The prologue was very good and explained averything really well, the last chapter tied everything together, but I honestly couldn’t tell you what was said in ch 1 to 3. It makes me kind of said that theoretical books are often written in a way that makes them inaccessible for non-academic readers. Political theory should be for everyone.

This book just made my fear of AI bigger than it already was. I kept putting off on reading this because it is Sci-Fi, but I am so glad I read it now. It is so beautiful. Ambrose and Kodiak take „I‘ll love every version of you“ literally. A love story spanning 30 thousans years. The characters are so loveable and I love their banter.
