This is a quick read that obviously caters to fans of Gilmore Girls. Lauren Graham provides some background on her childhood, adolescence, and early years as an actor. Her writing style is charming and friendly -- very much what one would expect from the woman we have come to know as Lorelai Gilmore. And while the book is delightfully charming, and full of amusing anecdotes and plenty of reminiscing about Gilmore Girls (both the original series and the revival), overall, it does feel like it could have been more substantial.
