I really enjoyed the back and forth between all the characters' perspectives while reading this. It made it feel fast paced, and I read it in one sitting just to see what happened next! My only disappointment was the ending seemed to fizzle out a little after the twist happened but overall it was a great read

I really liked this book! A lot of it took place in the forest, but without feeling repetitive. The switching between characters was easy to follow and interesting. Definitely a great whodunit read!

This book was very "meh" for me. It feels like a very typical ghost story, but then wasn't really about ghosts at all and more about a sort of zombie? Or corpse I guess? The one good thing about it was there were some very suspenseful parts in it, but overall just ok and not a very great ending

This was so creepy and disturbing, and everything happened so fast!! It was a wild ride from start to finish and the ending felt like someone slamming the brakes on a car it was so abrupt. I expected it to just keep going. I think I could have read an 800 page book of this story

This book was very... interesting to say the least. The first half really felt like it was solely relying on shock value and felt like there wasn't much story going on, just a lot of gore. But once Luna goes missing and things start to take a turn for Andi, the story really picks up. I really enjoyed the 2nd half of this book. Still lots of gore and gross things going on (which I'm not complaining about), but as the reader you start to realize you're reading from the perspective of someone who can't tell the difference between what's real and what isn't and all of a sudden the rest of the book starts to make a lot of sense.

This story was just ok for me. It was really interesting to read being that it was published in 1892 and the writing style is very different, but overall I just didn't really get it. It's very sad, it's clear the narrator is suffering from some sort of postpartum depression or other mental issues, and is constantly told by her physician husband that she's fine and just needs rest. The fascination with the wallpaper was also interesting, but aside from her pulling it off the walls I didn't really understand what was happening at the end

I listened to the audiobook of this one, which I don't normally do but it was free so thought I'd give it a try. This story was okay for me, it felt like a typical possession story but I did really enjoy the ending.
