this was SO CUTE. a wonderful and sweet sapphic romance about a girl who enters a prom queen contest in her small town to win the prize money that will allow her to go to her dream college. loved our main character's personality and also the very wholesome platonic friendship she has with one of the male characters. definitely recommend as a pick me up!!

GAHH I really enjoyed this! super cute with a badass female lead and a soft muffin of a male lead. loved seeing influencer culture represented but also the realities of troll culture and what women face in male-dominated spaces. Definitely recommend if you're into gaming at all or if you're into books that discuss online spaces!

SO FREAKIN GOOD. can't believe i was sleeping on this book for a year!! read this via the audiobook and absolutely LOVED the narrators. this book is filled with compelling and multi-faceted characters, incredible game descriptions, and just a fast-paced plot with INCREDIBLE TWISTS. loved all of the discussions of race and the many parts of black experience that it touches on. GO READ THIS BOOK NOW BECAUSE IT'S FREAKIN AWESOME. another fave of the year hands down.

hands down one of my fave books of the year. dramatic yet nuanced, Anna K is the story of a large cast of characters discovering love in its many facets. I love this book to bits and will definitely go back to reread it time and again.

MY HEART :') this wasn't really the new instalment i was hoping for (seriously wish it had been set entirely in the republic but alas) but i still loved seeing more of my beans june and day and getting to know more about eden. super emotional after the ending though now, and i just keep remembering my emotional self reading the end of champion years ago and sobbing endlesslyyy

....that was SO GOOD. just finished this book and it's left me feeling a bit teary-eyed and hopeful and all around astounded. Went into this without thinking much of it and left it feeling utterly delighted. I loved our main character Marin, and grew to adore the friends she makes along the way. but ultimately i loved how self-aware Marin was of how little she knew of feminism at the beginning of the book and how much she's hoping to learn. Now I would just like a Gray of my own to come to my feminist book club and be the book club dad
