The Archer at Dawn by Swati Teerdhala
THAT ENDING ! oh ! my ! god !
didn't love this as much as the first book but still loved all the twists and turns and sneaking and lies. excited to see how it's all going to end in the last one!

The Beautiful by Renée Ahdieh
I honestly don't know how i feel about this. On the one hand i loved how diverse this book was and the different personalities of many side characters. On the other hand I didn't really connect to the romance and felt like the writing was too flowery at times. I'm also not sure how much of this is affected by the fact that I read about half of this by audiobook. Not sure if I'll pick up the next book but still interested by this mystery and that ending!
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab
oh my. that was beautiful and wonderful and haunting and incredible. definitely a new favourite even if it ended far differently than I hoped.
The Silvered Serpents by Roshani Chokshi
THE ANGST <3 I LOVED THIS SO MUCH. My heart aches for my babies <3
A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor by Hank Green
HOLY. my brain hurts from trying to conceptualize everything in this book, but I loved the themes and conversations it had. This instalment was definitely more sprawling than the first but I think Hank really does get to the heart of humanity and beautifully displays the many ways we are flawed. I'm definitely gonna miss Carl and the crew and I'm DEFINITELY going to be thinking about the issues this duology raises for a long time coming.
Also highly recommend the audiobook for the bonus conversation between Hank Green and Cory Doctorow!

Sita's Ramayana by Samhita Arni
ahh I loved this so much! have always loved Ramayana and love this version from Sita's perspective. The Padua art was breathtaking and fittingly bold like the tale itself
These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong
I LOVED this! the historical elements and the city just breathed and soared off the page for me. Loved our characters, especially Marshall <3 looking forward to the sequel and where the story will go from there! Definitely recommend if you're looking for a historical fantasy with some violence, monsters, and an angsty romance!
A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab
FINALLY FINISHED THIS! It took me two years since first picking this up to pick it back up and finish reading and my god am I glad I did. I enjoyed this finale so much more than the last two instalments and really fell in love with the characters properly in this one. Loved the layered-ness of each of them and especially loved learning more about Holland. Gotta say that ending definitely left me a bit teary-eyed and I cannot wait to see where this goes in the Threads of Power!
Lovely War by Julie Berry
This was so cute! Really enjoyed it! Dragged a bit in the middle for me but loved the long look at the characters stories and how they intertwined, and especially loved the frame narrative with Aphrodite.
