Wow wow wow!! This is a must-read by Sager!

I hate to admit the first few chapters gave me nightmares after I read it before bed one night

My first book by Peter Swanson and I enjoyed it! There’s a lot going on, but nothing overwhelming. It’s like having all these puzzle pieces and learning where they fit in perfectly. Jumping from past to present, and from character to character, I found it compelling! Getting every angle of the story.

This suspenseful psychological thriller gave me huge The Turn of the Key meets Behind Closed Doors vibes!

The Housemaid was super fast paced and action packed! I was definitely hooked from the first page and wanted to keep reading until the very end. I loved the locked room aspect and the twists of this book. The author did a great job playing with your emotions because the Winchester family literally filled me with rage!!

I’ve been seeing raves about this author for the longest time now and decided to give The Locked Door a shot!

The synopsis is what made me pick up this book by her. I love a good whodunnit and serial killer read! The author knew exactly what she was doing with the misleading “hints” as I thought I was able to predict the twist. But I absolutely did not see it coming!

I enjoyed the dual timelines of Nora’s life before and after her father was arrested. Learning about what her father did in their basement, the darkness that seems to live inside Nora as well, and the copycat murders she was being framed with.

This is my first book by Coben and I specifically chose this one because of the raves I’ve seen on GoodReads, Facebook, basically everywhere. I heard his older books are way better than his newer ones. I was super excited but sadly ended up disappointed.

The storyline intrigued me and the book held my interest. There are a good amount of plot twists and multiple POVs.

To me, this wasn’t a fast-paced book. The book started off action-packed but then turned into a slow burn until it picked up towards the end. The chapters were long and felt a little too detailed. I don’t like long chapters but what bothered me about the ones in this book is that they switched POVs within a chapter. It was difficult to determine what character it jumped to. With this, I started getting confused and lost in the story.

I absolutely enjoyed this book! The description itself was intriguing and I’m so happy I picked up this book. Some plots were predictable but I thoroughly enjoyed nevertheless! There were some questions I was left with, and the ending felt rushed at one point. But overall a fun read!

The synopsis is absolutely brilliant - two strangers meeting at an airport, one joking about wanting to kill their cheating spouse, and one offering to help

This twisty page-turner will make you want to devour this book. In true Lucinda Berry fashion, the topic of Phantom Limb is another tough pill to swallow. We learn about the childhood and past of the twins Emily and Elizabeth. Spending their early years locked in their bedroom, abused by their mother, taken advantage by her “special friends”.

Learning about one of the twin’s time in the psych ward and her diagnosis of dissociative identity disorder was super interesting. With the twists in this book I did get confused at times and the ending left me with a few unanswered questions.

Please look up trigger warnings before reading this book!

OH MY GOODNESS. Appetite For Innocence is such a sick, twisted, and gut wrenching book! There are some parts that literally made me physically uncomfortable and I even winced at one point too. But I absolutely loved this book and enjoyed it SO MUCH! Not sure what that says about me though

There’s not much to say about this book
