This book actually changed my brain chemistry. 2024 was a really hard year for me. I lost my mom and I had a big friendship changes and I was truly mourning the life I had.
Promise me sunshine feels like a love letter to the people who have lost loved ones and have to learn how to live in the wake of change. It’s also a reminder that we can move forward no matter how hard it seems.
The characters are so lovable and the friendships that are made are very heartfelt.
One of the most beautiful books I have ever read and will forever stick with me in the best way.

These books are so fun. I love how the relationship grows between Lachlan and Lark. I also think that lake might be one of my top favorite FMC. Her playfulness and sarcasm made the book so enjoyable! Also don’t get me started on what a gooey cinnamon roll Lachlan is!

4.5 this book was gross at times(I will never look at Orzo pasta to cookies and cream ice cream the same)but it make up for that with how fun the rest of the book was! The banter was amazing and the spice was literally top tier. 😮💨 I will definitely be reading the rest of the series.

This book was fun! I loved being in the mind of the FMC and I found her quite entertaining and sarcastic. I loved Nyx as well and she truly felt like part of the story instead of an afterthought.
I was not interested in the MMCs and I’m not one for a bulky romance but the FMC was a bad ass in my mind and I’ll gladly read another book about her and the world she is in. I hope the romance actually becomes something I’m excited about in the next book.
