Short, more a novella. Interesting retelling with a very much fantasy spin of elves, vampires and magic. It was ok, sort of wish it was longer and more filled out really.

A little romance, no spice. For anyone wondering

I really really liked this book! It's the first by the author that I've read and I will definitely be reading more, that was a dip into a world I am not very familiar with but the cast was great. The love part was great, but also the non-love part that was just the characters battling their inner demons

I really really enjoyed this book. I received an ARC & although I am new to romance, this was a really heartfelt way to jump in. Lexi has known one of the greatest losses you could ever feel and it's basically her journey of trying to figure out how to allow herself to move forward and not feel guilty about it. Sometimes I wanted to just shake her like crazy But I would also have been probably more closed off than she was. I'm glad she ended up with who she did and I definitely shed some tears

It reads just like watching Planet Earth or some doc of his. Really takes you through time, extinction, hope, animals & human impact on the world. I may have got teary eyed at one point but it was a good, shorter read.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 23%.
Did not enjoy ilthus. Boring, annoying characters, drab Gothic style I guess is not for me

This was a pretty fun book and quite different on the romantasy front. Being stuck in a Time loop and having to save a kingdom, while slowly falling in love with the prince. Every time she resets the day. There wasn't really an end for the romance part which is a little disappointing but also okay. The random bits of French and Spanish in there was a little weird, but overall this was the prettier original story I felt like and enjoyed it

Well that was spicy. And dark, chaotic, full of naivety and a toxic but hot romance. Props for that spin at the very very end I didn't see coming. It was a fun and quick read for an afternoon

The first third was kind of boring, a little repetitive. About 100 pages and stuff started to get brought to light, some questions answered, and then the last hundred pages there was an interesting twist. There wasn't a bad book per se, but I also didn't love it.
The magic and gods of the land is pretty interesting, The love and betrayal between characters is also interesting.
I know there's going to be a sequel from this but I'm just not really interested unfortunately
