i'm in no state to be coherent right now and i doubt anything i say about the book thief hasn’t been said before but. i am heartbroken and struck by the power of words and in less than 600 pages this book managed to make me feel both hopeful and horrified by humanity
if love for me isn’t like alex and henry exchanging sickeningly romantic emails and quotes of yearning written by famous lovers throughout history then i do NOT want it
