The Devil's Only Friend by Dan Wells
5.0
I don't know why I'm surprised each time I pick up a book by Dan Wells. I should know after reading five of his books that I'm going to love it! And yet here I am again just as shocked and surprised at how he's done it again! Absolutely fantastic! I'd give this book 10 stars if I could! I'm so glad I have the next two that I can pick up immediately! Seriously well done! I know now that anytime anyone asks me that one question that usually has several answers, "Who's your favorite author?" My answer will undoubtedly and always be... "Dan Wells!"

Just shut up and read it already ! ;)
I love a good book series, however this one is fantastic! Go pick it up, or buy it on amazon, but read it! It keeps you guessing, and on your toes! Written so very well! Wonderful read!

Over Your Dead Body by Dan Wells

I somehow managed to read book 5 after book 6. But it didn't matter. This book was so engaging. It's difficult to put into words, how absolutely wonderful the John Cleaver Series is. So I'll just say this... Thank you Mr. Wells for sharing your imagination with the world. The place you created kept my heart racing and my mind filled with wonder with each turn of the page. I will be re-reading this series for years to come!

I will honestly admit that it took me a while to be drawn in by this book. Nearly 230 pages. But that's how I am, if I picked the book up, I'm going to finish it. However, as I kept reading I couldn't put it down. And the reason it took me so long is because I couldn't relate to the 'cheerleader.' But that's my fault, not the authors. This book is so very well written and so much imagination! I love the world she built and I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I loved how the story took place on my hometown as it helped me know the scenery so well. The author has a vivid way with words. Five Stars all the way!

Very well written, I expected nothing less. I'm excited to find out more as I start this series.
The Arthuriad Volume One: The Mystery Of Merlin by Zane Newitt

Gasp! Wow! Of all the things you think you know, you know none of this.
Every story I've ever heard or read about Arthur & Merlin do not compare. Most of those stories are meant for children I assume. However, this one ... I believe... can make a believer out of anyone.

I truly enjoyed this novel. Bridget Sway is a fantastic lead, I also enjoyed Sabrina's character. The imagery was well done. I could see everything while I was reading it. The afterworld created here was a world I could imagine actually exists! I believe anyone would enjoy reading this book, young or old it is a great story. I look forward to book two!
Great job Jordaina!

Bridget Sway was neck deep in trouble again. But I loved every moment of it. This series has been so very enjoyable. I just went on amazon and got book four. If you like cozy mystery novels you’ll love this book. If you like paranormal you’ll love this book, too.
On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft by Stephen King
5.0
I'm not sure there's a book by Stephen King that deserves less than 5 stars. I don't think that's even possible. His writing is what people should aspire to. I loved reading about him and how he came to be what he is. I was happy to find that the way I write and always have written is the way he does it, too. While I continue to perfect the craft of writing, at least I know I'm on the right track! I especially like the "permission slip" on page 270. Thank you to Stephen King for his vast imagination and his amazing ability to share it with the rest of us!
