This book was heavy. It makes you think the whole way through. I finished it in a day because I couldn’t put it down, but it wasn’t an easy read emotionally. And that ending? Huge twist that left me sitting there just processing. It’s one of those stories that sticks with you after, even if you’re not sure how to rate it right away.
This one gave me real romcom vibes—funny, flirty, and just easy to sink into. At the same time, it touched on some darker subjects. One of them really came through, the other felt more like a glance, but I didn’t mind it. It never got too heavy. Honestly, I just enjoyed myself reading it. It was a good balance of romance with a touch of real life mixed in.
5⭐. This book was hit after hit, punch after punch. The FMC and MMC had such a time with everyone but each other, and it really was the perfect example of meeting the right person at the wrong time—but not letting that stop you. I felt every bit of it.
A satisfying conclusion with lots of quirky charm. The mystery unfolds slower than earlier books, but I was already hooked on the characters, so I didn’t mind. Hoping the side characters get their own stories next!
This one felt more like a bridge in the series than a full spotlight on Cappadonna—but it’s still a good read. The character moments hit, and it sets up what’s coming next. Worth sticking with even if the focus shifts a bit. Great twist too
Easily my favorite in the series so far. The emotional depth, pacing, and character growth hit perfectly. Cappadonna is just that guy, and his personality dominates the page in the best way. The romance works without taking over, and the story just flows.
This could’ve been so good. Magical small town, hidden history, witches rising—but the FMC was too much, the MMC didn’t give enough, and the villain? Lame. Weird YA vibe didn’t help. Curious enough to try book two, but if doesn’t hold my attention im going to stop the series
