Having enjoyed the previous Selection series, I figured I would try the sequel. It was about as good as any sequel, so I can't truly hold that against it, but I really enjoyed the last third of the book- there was a ton of character development, and the emotions behind the scenes were easy to feel. My opinions on this book are that if you can make it through through the first two-thirds of the book.

I'm giving this book a rating of 2.5. True neutral. As someone who loved the X-Files, this book intrigued me. Having read it, it was about what I'd expect from a YA novel. I don't hate it, it's just... about what I expected. If you're looking for something high calibre or high quality, this isn't really that book.

A friend reccomended this book, and the concept intrigued me. The book is well written, and although this book isnt really my cup of tea, I have every intention to read the rest of the series. I reccomend this book if you like near future sci-fi with a bit of romance.

I LOVED Illuminae, so I was eager to follow up with the sequel. This was an amazing follow-up. There were a ton of plotlines that all tied up satisfactorily, and I enjoyed many of the characters. The worldbuilding, like its predecessor, was immaculate, and I highly, highly reccomend this book to amyone who enjoyed the first book.

I like the concept of Ready Player One. I like the idea behind it, the basic plot, and the worldbuilding that went into it. I even like most of the characters. The reason I'm giving this book a true neutral rating is because I simply can't stand our narrator, Wade.
This book carries the tone of a self-insert fanfiction, the kind where the author realized that everything worked out too well and just stuck a couple negative events into the plot. Wade himself seems slightly off, like the kind of person you'd argue with on Reddit. The bad guys seem almost cartoonishly evil, and all of the bad things that happen- such as actual murder- don't stick with the narrator, and don't stick with the reader.
That being said, I ADORE the other characters, such as Wade's friends, and the book has potential. In addition, I found the story slightly intoxicating, like a realative's homemade wine. Even when I was less than enthusiastic about the book, I couldn't put it down.

This is a nicely thought-out guide to begin making street art. I appreciate this book and the exercises in it, and I hope to be able to put them to good use!

Having read the other Hunger Games books and loved them, the release of this book thrilled me. I read this book, and I love it. I appreciate that it continues to build on the Panem developed in the other books, and it offers us a variety of new perspectives and characters. I would definitely, one-hundred-percent reccomend this book to anyone who read the original trio.

I read this book in one sitting, and I enjoyed the concept. I like the ideas it presents, but to me, it gets bogged down with poetic reflection and the plot is flat and two-dimensional. That being said, I like this addition to the world of the Giver and I appreciate the worldbuilding.

This book was a reccomendation from my English teacher, and I've decided it's the kind of book I wouldn't read on my own, but I'm glad that it was reccomended to me. I relate to the main character, and I appreciate the others- personally, my favorite was Millard.
I gave this book a 3.5 because I appreciate it, I just didn't quite vibe with it. That said, I still enjoyed it and will try to read the rest of tge series.

I LOVED this book. It's so good. I'd love to be able to write a proper reveiw, but I can't even articulate my love for this story. It's the perfect combination of lighthearted story and emotional rollercoaster, and I loved every second of it. I would absolutely reccomend this book to everyone I know.
