I understand why this book is a classic, but all of the characters are infuriating. If you're reading it as a book, it's less than stellar, so I recommend thinking of it as "reading" an action movie: overproduced, cheap thrills with whatever Hollywood hunk of the day in the starring role. It's a lot easier to get to if you view it through the same basic framework that most other action/thriller books are based on.

I'd read the rest of the series if I had more time, probably. It definitely feels like a book written by and for teenage boys.

I enjoyed this book. It was definitely way more intense than I was expecting. I really enjoyed the epistolary layout, and I feel like it really helped show character development and personality.

I really liked this book, so much so that I'm planning on taking Stanford's open Quantum Mechanics course now- so if you're interested, I highly recommend it.
