Not bad, but not my favourite either. No regrets reading it, even though it was for class, but not my favourite work from Shakespeare. While I know it's supposed to be a tragedy, it felt almost aggressively melodramatic.

This was a FASCINATING book. There was a lot of plot and character building for being in a poetical form. The twist at the end took me completely by surprise, but was built up really well. Also, I'd love to read more about these characters. :)

I liked this book. I disliked some of the characters, but I assume that was the point. Wilde has a very interesting take on hedonism. The ending was probably the most interesting part of the book.

honestly? I can understand why people like this book, but it's just not there for me. While, as a Goodreads reviewer pointed out to me, it is rather impressive that Huxley predicted genetic modification and action movies, that's not necessarily enough to make this book actually enjoyable. None of the characters were likeable, the worldbuilding was shabby and hard to follow (who's actually important, Ford or Freud?), and the general vibes of racism and sexism throughout the book weren't so great either.
It definitely feels like the kind of book you'd have to read for an English class, like so many older dystopians are. As far as dystopias go, this book ranks below Farenheight 451 but above 1984, which isn't impressive.

I really, really liked this book. I read the whole thing in one sitting IN the library- I couldn't even put it down long enough to take home! The art style is divine and really helps bring the dresses to life. I adore every single character. I don't know enough words to describe how much I love this book. Just... please read it!

Not a bad read. Good worldbuilding and characters, and I even enjoyed the dual plots. However, I felt it was unnecessarily spicy for a YA book- the scenes had no bearing on the plots or character developments, and simply seemed to be there to appease older audiences.

I read this book when I was younger, and I remember really enjoying it. When the POPSUGAR prompt this year was to read a book with a tiger on it, I decided to reread it. It was still a good read. The themes, the characters, and the storyline were just as important and interesting as they were the first time I read it. A very good book, for any age.

I picked this book for a reading challenge, and it was very good. I really liked the art style, and the characters won my heart. A very good, rainy day read. :)
