Whitehead uses a lot of vocabulary I’ve never heard of so the first few chapters were slow because of research I had to do. BUT, once I established a rhythm, I was able to speed through the book. The ending was unexpected and left me mouth open. Beautiful book. I’m headed to see the movie today.

I just don’t think I do well with books I’ve already seen the movie of first. Also, I think I’d need to read this along with the audio book.

NOT like the play, and was kind of hard to follow at some moments, but the writing was beautiful. I truly enjoyed the adventure and am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
