The art is beautiful but it felt so incredibly mediocre. Maybe someone who lost their mom would have connected more. The concept was cute but it just wasn’t that deep to me. Feels harsh to give it 3 stars
Had to read this for class and was offended by “insane”, “dangerous”, “unfortunate”, & “psychologically unstable”, used to describe children whose conception originated from sperm banks or other artificial practices.

Zenith can do everything trashy YAs can do but ten times over and while passing the bechdel test so maybe it deserves and I can’t stress this enough at least a 4 on goodreads
Second time through: it’s so good. It’s just that good. I love it so much. It’s so smart it’s so cute the romance hit me HARD this time and I almost cried during chapter 36. I don’t know what we did to deserve this series !!! Also I know nor is like evil evil but I felt more sympathy for her this time. Like arcadius was so shitty to xen ptera u know?
I know there’s drama with the editor and honestly I’m upset because she’s offended people in her past projects. Anyways Zenith provided a beautiful, inclusive story and it was from the minds of sasha and lindsay so idgaf about this editor. *shrug*.
Ok so I was literally in YA heaven. It was amazing. But I really had trouble near the end. I love the ending don’t get me wrong. But it was less fluid and not doing it for me. Like the pacing got super super weird. But all the events were great. The characters are spectacular.
The first 75% is so beautiful and vivid and exciting!! Pretty great writing too. I love Dex. I really didn’t know how I’d feel about him going into it but he’s actually really great and fleshed out.
It’s weird because I follow sasha and Lindsay so I think I can see all their inspirations through the story you know? I feel like I personally felt like too much happened and I wish this were more than one book. Especially the beginning I was switching between characters before I knew them. But it didn’t ruin it! For real I’m just slow with that kind of stuff.
I really can’t describe the rush you get with this FAMILY on their journey. I will protecc. Andi is fucking incredibleeeee

I feel physically hurt like a piece of me is missing. This book really broke my heart (in a good way). The writing wasn't perfect for me but I loved the dialogue and characters and story. People are complaining about the pop culture references but damn they're on point! have you read meg cabot? It's not always super lame to have stuff like that. I really like it and I sets the 2011 theme with 2011 stuff. The famous "beatles passage" was sarcastic and I hate twitter lol. Shane is NOT a "homewrecker" and I'm not the super monogamous-jealous type but I'd love to give my thoughts on that stuff in a video.
I think most of us who have watched polandbananasBOOKS have felt super seen and connected to christine at one point or another that makes us feel like her best friend. That's why she's such a booktube success and practically the CREATOR of booktube as it is today. This definitely shone through in ABB as one of it's best qualities. I'm so excited for a noob to read this book and find her youtube channel and be like. Wow Shane is a real person XD! Did I just use XD I'm literally christine.
anyways I wanna study abroad so bad just because it scares me so much and I'm a thrill seeker also I want my whole life to change like Christine's. This book made me super nosy into Christine's life and relationships but I understand a lot of it is straight fiction because I've written stuff based on my life before but then thrown in dramatic shit because you gotta make it exciting.
I don't know what else to say! My heart! Pilot isn't PERFECT. he's seriously problematic. Shane is nowhere near perfect either. But she has like one of the best character arcs ever. She was such a communicating extrovert by the end of the book! I could actually relate to her by the end because I'm always like sit down I will tell you all my secrets and how I really feel about you. seriously I've almost always asked out my crushes and shit I'm crazy like that!!!!!
Anyways I'm on my computer so that's why this review is really long because usually my fingers hurt. I wrote a few more things down I wanted to talk about so if I stop being a lazy ass I will make a youtube video about it.
