Great use of tropes. I actually enjoyed the writing even though it’s cheesy. Lots of problematic parts like a background character got taken advantage of when she was drunk, JJ says she was “incomplete” before being with [spoiler], and a lot of cheating while the characters are seeing other people. And they keep treating JJ like a piece of meat wtf is that.
Reminded me of the summer I turned pretty! Very similar

It was definitely really hot and it’s totally my kink how opposite they are. UNFORTUNATELY some details were just so out of taste they put me overboard. Although I love josh he reminded me so so so much of christian grey (from fifty shades) in a really bad way.
It kind of reminded me of the office! That was really easy to picture because I kind of knew what an office job was like.
I didn’t really like how he was perfectly toned and handsome and muscular. It didn’t leave much to the imagination and there was nothing interesting or quirky about him except his height tbh
Her “outburst” at the breakfast was so cringy I think it was totally necessary but after it ended she KEPT making comments and I’m like AHHHHHHH no moreeeeee
Spoilers:
1. I don’t like how he grabbed her in the elevator and she was so scared and tried to get away and said NO and STOP and then they literally joke about it later and he’s like “you never called the police on me lol”

It’s incredible to hear someone from stan twitter do things as monumental and profound as Na’ama, she’s really a treasure! I’m an American Jew and was taught a lot of false information. This book is a real wake up call that we all have a responsibility to do what’s right. Also stan DWOHT!!!
Incredibly smart! I’ve always been a slut for politics and I really related to alex. Something people don’t talk about is this book is genuinely funny which I feel like haven’t read in forever.
