I had heard about this book for a long time, but never tried to read it. I thought that since it was a classic, the plot and language would be too hard for me to follow. It took me a couple chapters to really get into it, but once I did I couldn't stop reading it. I was stressing out right along with the main character in many parts of the story. This is a book I would think about when I wasn't reading it. A classic love story with a twist you might not have seen coming!

I saw this book as a recommendation from my local library. It was interesting enough that I wanted to know what happened, but it wasn't something I read non-stop. I could take breaks from this book without thinking about it too much. It's a mostly clever part, but at the same time it was a little predictable to me. If you're looking for something to read to just pass the time, this is a good one. Other than that, go read something that will be more exciting.

I read this book because I saw it pop up on various lists as a good book to read, but I wasn't that impressed with it. It takes place in the future. I really struggled with staying interested. The main character didn't seem to stand out to me at all in this book and I really didn't like most of the characters overall. I finished just because I had to, not because I wanted to.

This was a great, but sad, story. I felt for the main character throughout the whole book and wished I could change around her life and what happens to her. It's an easy read, it didn't take me too long to read it, but I did enjoy every minute of it. It gives you a sad look into the horrible world of child prostitution rings without getting graphic.
