This is probably my favorite Superman comic ive read so far which isn’t a lot but I really enjoyed it. Great character work with everyone, cohesive plot line with a very satisfying ending. I love Lois in this she’s such a firecracker.

Thanks to NetGalley and CLASH books for the ARC!
This book reminded me somewhat of Don’t Let the Forest in despite neither having a similar premise. I’m not sure I knew where the author was going with the premise at first and it really got good around the halfway mark, and then it got confusing, I liked the ending, but also did I find the main characters love as justified in its codependent horror as Don’t Let the Forest in? Not really. But perhaps it should have been longer, to give time to really delve into the characters which I only began to scrape away at again midway through. Sometimes they confused me with how they flip flopped. There were some truly great ideas here, they just weren’t taken as far or in perhaps the direction I would have liked to see. It was a very short book though so if you’re curious it’s hardly more than a couple hours out of your day.
