I love a Christmas romance, and Fae's Christmas books always deliver. The covers are so beautiful and yet they hide some very kinky boys behind them.

Here, we follow Jason and Joe, two men likely on the ace spectrum, who have never been with men before. There's an age gap, and this book is definitely an opposites attract romance.

This one is a slower burn, as Jason spends a significant portion of the book just trying to get Joe to talk to him, while Joe stubbornly clings to an idea that he needs to prove himself by doing it all solo.

These two were sweet and they were spicy, and I loved every minute.

Good lord this one had me howling. Why is IBS so bloody relatable?

This book is different from a normal romance. It's a second chance romance, where a significant portion of the book follows the two MMC's during their initial relationship. We have a broken man, who believes everyone leaves him, and a bitter man who always plays second fiddle. It's also got minimal spice because one of the MMCs is ace, but this felt natural for these two characters.

But goodness me, they are so perfect together. They felt real and messy and I will not get over their level of cattiness; give me two bitter characters who embrace that and love each other anyway.

Jenna always writes characters I love because they're absolutely hilarious, but have moments that feel like she's dug around in my brain and picked out experiences and reactions that I regularly have. Just another brilliant book by Jenna to add to her catalogue
