Great ending to this series. I have been so invested in this whole journey between Reyna and Maz, and glad it ended the way it did.
We got the answers we wanted (and some that I had figured out early on in the series). Now I just need my own shadow fae (really, just my own Maz) and life will be perfect

Definitely one of the darkest-themed books I have read. The first 50-60% was definitely on the way to taking the spot as the most depraved book I have read.
The remainder of the book was a little disappointing because it moved away from the dark themes, which is not what I am used to when it comes to dark romance.
I love NMBC and am very glad a retelling exists, but this book did leave me wanting more
