HOLY CRAP, THIS BOOK WAS AWESOME!
Listen… I was hesitant about reading a dark romance written by a man. But after seeing so many people rave about his books, I decided to give the audiobook a shot—and wow, my expectations weren’t just met, they were exceeded.
At first, it seemed like your typical arranged marriage mafia romance, but as the story progressed, it just kept getting better and better.
🔥 The spice? Scorching.
💥 The banter? So good it had me rolling my eyes in the best way.
📖 The storyline? Captivating.
🎙️ And the narration? Absolutely top-tier.
I was hooked. The moment I finished, I immediately looked up the reading order because I need to devour every book this author has written.
That said, it still followed a pretty standard mafia romance formula—predictable and not overly complex. But if you love the genre, that won’t take away from the experience.
I received this book as an ALC in exchange for an honest review.

Tropes:
• Professor/Student
• Age Gap
• D@m/Sub
• Mafia Elements
This book was an entertaining and spicy read! I loved the way the suspense simmered in the background while the story unfolded, adding an extra layer of tension that kept me hooked.
As a fan of all the tropes featured in this book, I absolutely devoured the forbidden elements woven into the romance. The chemistry between the characters was undeniable, and the darker themes made the stakes feel even higher.
I’ll admit, there was a point in the middle where things slowed down, and I almost put it down—but I’m so glad I didn’t! Around the 60% mark, the story picked up again with nonstop action, making it impossible to stop reading.
Now, I’m even more excited for book three!
ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.

What do you mean this series is over??? I’m devastated.
This book was absolutely phenomenal, and this is hands down the best hockey romance series I’ve ever read—and it’s SO UNDERRATED.
Okay… let’s talk about the book.
Wow. 🤯
Every single character is so beautifully written—so real, so impossible not to love.
Stephen, Chance, and Presley are literally the definition of soulmates, and I don’t think I’ll ever stop thinking about them.
I already loved Stephen from the other books, but seeing this more vulnerable side of him made me adore him even more. His sunshine personality was the glue holding this family together, and it was everything.
Chance. 🥵🥵 For the love of god… I need to stop obsessing over brooding, grumpy, emotionally scarred men, but let’s be honest—I can’t. 🤦🏽♀️ He was EVERYTHING I needed and wanted.
And finally, Presley. What. A. Warrior. She was thrown into an impossible situation at such a young age, yet she handled it with so much strength and resilience. (Also, she works at a library, which, let’s be real, is the ultimate dream job for any reader.)
Watching all three of them find their way back to each other and create this unique, unbreakable family dynamic was absolutely breathtaking.
I loved everything about this book, but I especially appreciated the representation and the way the story supports the LGBTQ+ community. The author goes beyond just showcasing the relationship for the sake of it—there’s nuance, depth, and so much heart in the way it’s written.
I was SO lucky to get an ARC of this book. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I might just go reread the entire series… again. 🤷🏽♀️😂

The Nanny is Off Limits by Q.B. Tyler

This book feels different from other QB Tyler books I’ve read (which are usually much forbidden), but it’s still just as good.
I’ve read so many nanny/single dad romances that I seriously thought I’d seen it all—and I still love them—but this one felt unique and even better.
I loved that the children were all different ages, especially having an older teenager (Margot) and the nuance that brought to the story.
The grief element was so well done, and I loved how Elianna was the little push they needed to truly move forward.
I related to Elianna so much as the eldest sister, always carrying the weight of responsibility.
Rowan was such a good father and an incredible partner. I loved how he showed up for Elianna in a way no one else ever had.
Other highlights:
• The bond between the kids and their uncle was so beautiful. I especially loved that moment at the end when he put Margot in her place.
