“She’s an omega without any family to look out for her. I’ve used that as my excuse for some light stalking on more than one occasion…I have no problem being her monster.”

Oh man this was my first Jillian West book and wow I’m in love. I am not only obsessed with the shared High Roller Omegas universe, but also with the perfect blend of dark, quippy, swoony, and spicy that Queen of Spades achieved. I’ve already downloaded and queued up her other books that tie in.

“Why do traumatic moments always remind me of my family? I think I need therapy. Or Jesus. I probably need both.”

Annika is an omega on the run. She’s found herself at the High Roller Club with a new name and a new life. That is, until her past catches up with her and she quickly realizes that she may not have outrun it as well as she previously believed. I enjoyed the heck out of this story. The way this pack came together was MESSY and I ate it up with a spoon. The screams I scrumpt and the gasps I gusped are truly uncountable. There’s one particular alpha in Queen of Spades that was so incredibly unhinged I immediately put him and Diesel from Den of Vipers in the same category of outrageous MMCs. I loved the fact that this omega was not afraid to get in the middle of the action and protect her people. I’m in awe and totally obsessed.

📚 In this book you can expect:
• Heats, nesting, knotting, mating bites
• Scent match (the omegaverse fated mates)
• Organized crime related drama and action
• St@lking
• He falls first (and harder)
• Funny AF bromance and quippy banter
• High spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

“I refuse to be another depressed mafia wife popping out kids while wishing I had more.”

Sarah Blue always nails it. Period. That’s the review. No, but for real, I’m completely obsessed with the High Roller Omegas shared universe and I’m SO glad I started by reading Sarah’s book. It’s a perfect balance of dark and sweet!

“Is it so bad that I just want someone to choose me for me?”

Elena is a sweet and hopeless romantic omega. Her recently late father gave her the world and her brother hates her for it. After running away to the High Roller Club to avoid a loveless arranged pack, she encounters her scent match in the club. Unfortunately for her, it’s much more complicated than simply hooking up with a client.

“She belongs to me, whether she wants to or not. Though, I would enjoy it a lot more if she willingly came to terms with what’s between us.”

Queen of Hearts had me in a chokehold. I finished it in a single evening because I simply could not put it down. It was the perfect blend of dark, sweet, and spicy (like SPICY spicy). The banter was top notch, I was literally stifling my wheeze cackles to not wake the entire house while reading. At one point I’m positive my eye brows whizzed off my face in shock and my jaw unhinged itself as I swallowed this story whole. I swear Sarah puts something in her omegaverse books because I am ADDICTED.

“I don’t know what game of cat and mouse we’re playing, but I find myself desperately wanting to both win this battle of wills and also get what I want. Maybe the two are synonymous.”

In this book you can expect:
• Scent Matches (aka the omegaverse fated mates)
• Hidden Identities
• Heats, knotting, mating bites
• Heavy mafia related family drama
• K*dn@pping
• Quippy banter & bromance
• Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

“Perfect. Perfect. Perfect.”
