“I know what I am. I’ve always known. I am one of the worse sort. A monster … But don’t you ever tell me how I feel.”
Willa was such an interesting female protagonist. She isn’t someone that you can like instantly.
(Don’t get immediately excited. Wait form my BUTS.) I liked her with her mother. That Willa was strong and always kept her guard up.
Ryder is the grumpy lumberjack type and I loved it. He just made my day. He was tough, strong, mean, and yet he manages to be the softie for his girl.
- The romance was excellent. For 21 years old people, I find it quite innocent but still like it.
- Both Ryder and Willa have misconceptions of one another and when they are thrown together for the assessment things heat up.
BUT
- Willa uses her anger as a mask without even caring how she affects and hurts people.
- Ever heard of COMMUNICATION, Willa? – No! Google IT.
- Willa created this melodrama in her head where she and Ryder are better off being ARCH-NEMESES and need to be at each other’s’ throats to survive. YET they were obsessed with each other.
- Why would you hate someone you find attractive, smart, funny and actually like spending time with.
- A lot is going on this book, glad I wasn’t the writer otherwise I would have gotten them together at 45% tops and then messed with that relationship and gave them hells so they know they should freaking stay together no matter WHAT.
- Ryder deserves better, and by better I mean he deserves the good hearted Willa that makes her mother laugh and reads to her to sleep. Not the moron that is living in ‘I must make your life miserable otherwise we won’t be fit together’ world.
Overall, I know you must hate be now for I have read so many reviews about this book but I don’t hate the book. I just hate how Willa acted. It is still a good romance with many ups and downs for both Ryder and Willa.

I was seduced by the cover and the actual fact that this book was nominated for Goodreads Award. I shall never be seduced again.
This book is a mess. I couldn’t understand nor relate to a single thing in it.
- It’s a friends to lovers.
- I didn’t feel the chemistry.
- Only the MC’s PoV. It becomes boring to always listen to the same person.
- So stuck on describing her exes’ life and actually obsessing over Alex’s ex.
- Too much talk (a first for me too Ik).

“Both of us hanging here, afraid to make a move. Afraid to stay, afraid to go, afraid to talk. We’re just hurting each other, aren’t we?”
First romantic novel that messes with my heart since 2018.
This love story is a rollercoaster for Jude and Skylar. They had their ups and downs, back and forth.
Let me introduce Jude Lucketti first. 34 years old. Slate grey eyes, long hair, tattoos. Construction worker, subsequent bar owner. Cynical. good-natured. jaded. lonely. tender-hearted.
In love already? Wait till you read the book.
Skylar Timmons. 18 years old. Bright. High-school student, photographer, influencer. Neglected. Vulnerable.
My first age gap novel where the guy isn’t fae. It was beautiful! Amazing! Emotional! Solid and pragmatic!
I struggled a bit with the first half of this book. It was very slow paced and quite detailed in parts that I felt maybe shouldn't have been. I found myself skimming some chapters, waiting for things to pick up. But when things pick? I was immediately hooked. I loved how both the characters were struggling with their feeling. Yes I was impatient with them to acknowledge their feelings but it was worth the wait. This book was such a good story full of emotions and romance. I loved the characters. They were phenomenally well written and engaged story. I definitely recommend this one it was fabulous.

I don’t know what to say except that this book deserves 5 kickass stars. I am obsessed with every character and its development let along the world-building that kept me dreaming of visiting. And I’m happily confessing to you that I have a thing for old guys. No not as old as faes but as old as immortal grandpa god, Nyktos. I keep getting shocked by every book.
The Primal of Death isn’t at all what I expected him to be. I expected DEATH not TINDERNESS. He’s kind, sweet and caring and definitely going into my endless list of HOT MALES I CANNOT HAVE. JLA did a good job in this book, she lets us discover him a bit by bit and whenever you think you won’t get surprised anymore, you’re proven wrong – again.
Sera shares so many similarities with Poppy, therefore I like her too. She’s fierce, outspoken, and of course a fan of stabbing hot immortals. She does bad things for good reasons, but also bad things because she did not really have a choice, and while she knows she should feel bad about it, she is trying to stay sane and to survive so she manages to detach herself from it. She’s just perfect for a normal human. The development of her character is just perfection. It is full of emotions and hidden moments of vulnerability, but at the same time, she remains strong and determined.
The plot is good too. It focuses on the romance, relationship, and character development between the MCs. There are so many funny moments, reckless ones, and more romantic than FBAA. I couldn’t stop reading ASITE because of the twists. I was kept on edge while reading and every chapter is surprising that the previous.
Overall, the similarity between ASITE and FBAA is obvious yet you’ll come to love it more than the latter due to its uniqueness.

I thought I’d hate this book because it reminds me of a certain book with doctors. It was so boring that I ended up hating it though the romance was so good.
Anyway, The Love Hypothesis was a surprise. I couldn’t outrun this book. Everyone was hyping it and you know with hype comes great expectations. And with great expectations comes greater disappointments. Therefore, my review is as follows:
I was hooked from the beginning. Who wouldn’t when it comes to fake dating? And not only that, Ali Hazelwood putting every possible romance trope into the novel was indeed great. It has SO MANY. Maybe this was too much, but for me it was okay. I didn’t mind it at all.
The romance between Adam & Olive is a slow burn. They were somehow natural together. I love their easy banter with each other. She teasing him about his age. His hate about everything sugary. I’m not gonna say why I gave this book 3.75 instead of 4 or 4.5. It’s just it is a good book. Well written. Well described. But it was and isn’t on my to 3 for the year.
Tropes: age gap – fake dating –work place romance – student x professor romance – one bed – sunshine x grumpy – guy simping for the girl first…

The only book I can't review. I did enjoy it but it felt wrong doing so. I do not consider this novel as her a masterpiece.
For me, all I got from it is one question? Why would I lay my life for this white souche here?

“I have a theory. Hating someone feels disturbingly similar to being in love with them.”
Before I start my review, I think you should know that I watched the movie first than read the book. And let me say that I loved the movie more than the book .
Pros:
- Lucy and Josh work in the same office, I think you guessed by now that it’s an office romance trope BUT these two are deeply in hatred with each other. So this makes it the famous enemies to lovers trop, my forever favourite.
- I enjoyed this book so much. The insults shared between Josh and Lucy. The sexual tension. The challenge spirit they both have. Josh is adorable, silent, yet sweet. Lucy, however, is weird. And she gets weirder.
Cons:
- Lucy is so easily freaked out, takes things the wrong way, a people pleaser, and of course always searching for signs that Josh hates her. That girl has anxiety for sure. She’s a constant state of questioning herself what people think about her and whether they like her or not.
- The ______ Game. This repetition was unnecessary.
- Getting close to the end, I found that everything I hated about the book only intensifies. Josh is constantly reassuring Lucy that she’s valued, while she is doing nothing but freaking more and more.
- Eyes darkening or pupils taking over their entire iris while feeling arousal isn’t a thing.
- To keep mentioning someone or an ex (Lucy’s) whenever the author describes Josh isn’t acceptable, too. He is someone we never met and even if we have I think it would be better to add some personality traits rather than simping over the body only. i agree that Lucy couldn’t hold the cat under her dress but I don’t see her as a body person.
Overall, and despite Lucy’s personality, The Hating Game with all its fun kept me engaged. Not a favourite read but I do like it.

First book I read for Tijan. I am not disappointed yet I think the novel could have been much better. It started strong. I was captured from the first line and then towards the end, the book started to sizzle.
Pros:
- The action. This book has my favourite thing ever. Guns. Murders. Mafia.
- Lots of twists. Again, my favourite though torturous.
Cons:
- The romance between the MCs was meh. I couldn’t feel their connection at all. It’s like that kind of relations you buy online. Fake.
- The girl has some sort of ability. She detect lies. How? That’s the problem. We don’t get to know why and how it’s just blur. I would’ve appreciated if we at least got something to think of.
- What happened to Jake & Carver? Is it normal for second characters to just disappear? No. take notes.
- This whole book is based on revenge but at the end we get nothing. The girl saves her sister and lives happily ever after. This is not romantic nights in Hawaii. Where are the guns? The kills I was waiting for? The REVENGE?

The Holiday Switch was the nicest Christmas read I had this year (if you consider that I started it on Dec and just had the chance to finish it)
The main characters, Lila and Teddy, were cute together yet they felt separated. The chemistry wasn’t there. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to connect with neither Teddy nor Lila. They are young but they seem younger than they are. I felt like I was reading a children’s book. Teddy is a pain in the arse at first but at least he is better than Lila. The latter was too judgemental and hard on people (Teddy). Yet, I warmed up for her as the story went on.
The setting was Christmassy and fluffy, from the decorated town to the beautiful aesthetic Inn. I say Marcelo did a good job by writing something that everyone would agree to love as a light read that would fit the last month of the year (but me had to finish it in 2022 -_-)
Besides the characters and the setting, the plot was not a success. People don’t just happen to switch their phones anymore. They each have different phone cases and passwords so no.
However, for extra points I did like that Teddy and Lila kept secrets from their families of what they wanted to do with their lives. Not to forget how well and cosily the family was presented.
