A complete jewel of a book. Laughter, drama, and tears across a lifetime, the whole package.

What a great read! I have a whole new appreciation for the musical craftsman that Bruce Springsteen worked so many years to become and for his soulful writing. I applaud his openness in describing his investment in therapy and his occasional struggles with mental illness. He is truly a songwriting and rock and roll legend.

Meh. With all the hype, I thought it would be better. The nature scenes were beautifully written but other parts of the plot were depressing or saccharine.
