For a second book in the series, I have to say that this was a great follow up to the first. Whereas some second books are lacking, this one was not. I enjoyed the new characters added, as well as the continued exploration and growth of old ones. The storyline was not lacking. I couldn’t wait to dive into the third book!

I absolutely loved this book. The characters and plot line were well developed, with some great intricacies. The side characters had great depth as well. The fantastical elements were clearly thought out and the fantasy universe was so interesting. I would recommend to anyone!

I thoroughly enjoyed this read! I was worried that I wouldn’t enjoy it quite as much as the first book in the series, but it was equally good. I enjoyed the glimpses into some of the other side characters, who had less focus on them in the first book. The introduction of new characters was great too, and truly supported the storyline. The storyline was intriguing and kept me wanting to keep reading until the end!

I greatly enjoyed this book. It was a bit slow to start, including a some recap from the first novel in the series. The characters were further developed, and I liked the addition of new characters. They added their own quirks and personalities to the mix quite well. The plot was intriguing, with some unexpected twists and turns. The ending was unexpected, and I can’t wait to see what comes next for Delilah and gang.

It was a lovely read, but it followed a similar pattern as other novels in the series. I feel like it’s a book to read when looking for something predictable without seeking major surprises or twists as it goes. The writing was well done and the characters were well developed.

I found myself liking the characters and the storyline of this book a bit more than some other Fool’s Gold novels. The introduction of some new characters was also appreciated. The quirkiness of some situations was not so realistic, but nevertheless enjoyable.

If you’re looking for a nice, predictable read- this is the one. It has a cozy feel to it, in the sense that you know it will have a happily ever after. I felt like the end wrapped up rather quickly, maybe a bit too quickly.  The characters felt well developed and had some fun quirks.

I absolutely loved this book! It was fantastic! The ways in which the storylines from the first two books in the series are connected was well done. The storyline kept you on the edge of your seat, wanting to keep reading more. The POVs felt thoughtfully selected, and all characters were well included. The conclusion was beautifully done as well, wrapping things up well. The mystery was unpredictable and well thought out.

I continue to enjoy the characters of this series. Particularly that the reader gets glimpses of the main four from the first book. I found the way in which book one connected to book two to be very well done. And it leaves the reader wanting more! It also lacks the typical predictability of mystery novel.

It was a pretty slow read. I continued to enjoy the fantasy of it, but it took a while to build into t the plot despite being the second book in the series.
