I liked this book more than I anticipated when I initially started it. It was rather enjoyable, with some bits of humor thrown in. There was a lot of drama thrown in between the multitude of characters. I found the chapter structure and writing to be unique and fun.

There wasn’t anything inherently bad or negative about this read. There also wasn’t anything that stood out as great. It was entertaining in the sense that you know how it’s going to end. While I enjoyed the addition of the Mitchell family, while also struggling with the complete dysfunction of the family unit. Having read a couple of the Happily Inc. novels already, it was interesting to see more of the origin of the family into the tale.
