A fun hot alien romance.

While it’s fluffy and sweet for the most part, there are some surprisingly dark moments. You may want to check trigger warnings if you have certain sensitivities. I’ll include some below.

I wish we had a whole series about the different couples just on this planet. It’s a neat setting and a neat culture, even if the alien terms for everything are kinda corny and on the nose. Ultimately I enjoyed this book and how ride-or-die the alien was immediately.

I really wanna see the mpreg part more. It’s neat that it’s possible here, but knock one of these mofos up!

Lily and Nikole noticed everyone’s obsession with Moth from the Monstrous series, and wrote us another affection-starved, white haired, elf-looking loner... And I for one am here for it. There’s some unique differences to Lau that are sweet, and his love story with Ivy is so endearing.

We finally get to see why Pomeranians are terrifying in the demon world, what the human world thinks of Cody’s disappearance, and what the deal is with Black Oasis.

Overall this was a fun read, and I LOVED the enby representation.

It’s an angsty MM grumpy/sunshine romance between an assassin vampire and a pure sugar human, and damn this sequel series is better than I expected. I enjoyed this about as much as Patience, which is saying a lot. Lark Taylor is coming into her own as a writer.

This is definitely for those that prefer the “bad boy” black cat love interests over the sweetheart golden retrievers. I like both so I’m happy either way.

I LOVED this reincarnation demon romance, but first definitely read the Reckless Damned series for the full effect. This love story’s been building for several books, and most of the characters are from the previous series with spoilers mentioned.

Once you’ve read Reckless Damned, PLEASE READ THIS AND MAYBE CRY A LIL WITH ME. I think it’s Taylor Lark’s best work. (Though I still need to read Justice.)

It isn’t high angst and could’ve been more brutal, but that’s typical for this author. She gives you characters with heartbreaking backstories and heals them up while adding some adventure.

That being said… your heart might break a little for Ferry and Leo.
