not ready for this series to end, but this was a great final vampire pairing and I CANNOT wait for the sequel series to drop.

MMM can be hit-or-miss but this one hits. I love this all for Colin, he deserves a simping twin set of mates.

Reread 3/18/2024:

Loved it just as much the second time. There’s some typos (at least in the older edition I was reading) but I love this unusual A/B/O world full of angels and demons.

7/13/2023:

(slaps down money on the table) I’ll take 20 more of these books, please and thank you. I CANNOT wait for the sequel stories, and may beg for the ARCs. So good.

If you like this genre (fantasy m/m omegaverse) then you’ll likely really enjoy this. Really fun premise—Demon alpha and an imprisoned angel omega forcibly bonded in Hell (literally) mid-demons-vs-angel war. The characters are likable and there’s a decent amount of pages for a good plot to develop. It ends HFN, no major cliffhangers, but sets up the world for the next stories.

**I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review**

4.5 stars!

I’m so thrilled the second book in this series has dropped!! I’ve been refreshing the author’s social media pages constantly over the past year hoping for a sequel, and it’s finally here! I’m such a fan of this series, and can confirm this  book SLAPS.

The Angel’s Enemy Omega is romantic, adventurous story full of “bonded enemies” goodness. There’s hate-screwing, self-loathing, “I hate you, I want you, I hate that I want you” scenes, double hurt/comfort, good further world-building, and some cool tie-ins to the first book!

While the demon alpha/angel omega dynamic from the first book is my favorite, this angel alpha/demonic vampire-like omega is pretty great. Nur is probably one of my favorite characters in the series so far, and he deserves the world. 😭 I didn’t expect we’d get a book about him, but I’m so glad we heard his story. I hope Sera comes out with additional short stories for Nur and Arsene! (And maybe more Rone and Vasia too?)

Now I’m curious who in the Hollow King’s Court will be featured next!

It wasn’t my favorite of Roe’s contributions to the perfect match series, but it was still cute. I think “couple trying to take it slow” is just one of those tropes I’m not as crazy about. But it was fun to see the follow up to this character  introduced in Faraway Match.

This was even better than I thought it’d be, especially for a 100 page novella. Major Witcher vibes, with the monster hunting and dark world, with the sweet pining of a battle-partners-to-lovers romance. Really well done.
