The reddit NoSleep series that the original version of this story belongs to is by far my favorite horror writing. This expanded version doesn't add much to the original for me.

I haven't stopped thinking about this story for a week now and I read all the short stories in the series. And I just wanna know how a story like this even ends. What does heat death feel like?

I read this without knowing it was a romance novel. Thinking back, I'm glad for that, because reading this in a romance mindset would have diminished Mira's self-actualization arc for me. The rapport between the leads led to possibilities rather than a foregone conclusion. There's a lot to like here and a bunch to learn about Indian culture.

I picked this book from my list not remembering why I added it, refusing to read the blurb as usual. I was surprised, and I was delighted. Captivating and quick. The tone of this romance! Fresh! Lovely!
