„Or maybe that was how a world died - not in a massive, dramatic moment, but quietly, softly, fading out like a light, so that once people realized it was gone, it was too late.“

Equal parts enchanting and terrifying read. The author somehow managed to write a very comforting, funny, charming story, that often gave me chills with it's commentary and metaphors. While I was fully immersed in Ary's adventures, sometimes I had to close the book and take a break - the metaphor for global warming was only thinly veiled and sometimes simply too depressing for me to read. At the same time tho, there is a strange stubborn hopefulness weaved throughout the whole story that I found really comforting.
Overall, a masterfully written story that somehow manages to simultaneously make you sad and comforts you.

„Evil is evil, Stregobor.“

A couple of nice tales about Geralt's adventures. Easy to read and complex enough that I'm not bored, yet simple enough that I could relax while reading. And the balance between deep themes and questions and exciting battles is just right. Nothing groundbreaking, but still, I had a great time.

The author of the book said it best - he is not a very good writer lmao
But in between all the No-context anecdotes are a few of good mindset shifts/lessons that I think could be beneficial for handling money

A beautifully told story about one of England's most tragic heroines. The author managed to write an academic text, that somehow kept me at entertained and often at the edge of my seat, even with all the references and citations. Of my favorite nonfiction books!

Some parts of the book felt a bit repetitive (but I can't really blame the author, it was his personal diary, after all), otherwise there were a lot of great thoughts that have stayed relevant even until today.

(I was a beta reader) A nice, relaxing read. I especially loved the prose and the amazing representation. Can't wait to read the polished version and anything else the author writes!!

Just like My Lady Jane and My Plain Jane, this book was so much fun. The humor was so clever, the story was moving at a steady pace and I adored all the characters.
