I think I should slow down but omg it's so good. I do like the backstory of Zuko's mum. I think they've done justice to her.

This is currently my favourite story of the novels so far. I'm so glad my friend has got the library editions too and that I've been able to pre-order the next one for him. So so good.

This was so so good! favourite quote from Iroh was: how can I wave the angst if I don't feel the angst?

It took me forever to get into this book but once I finally got into it I really enjoyed it and it helped me to understand the iliad before reading it. Looking forward to the next Golden Apple adaptation.

Brilliantly paced and easy to get hooked onto the characters. Michael Grant's writing seems to keep getting better and better with each new series!

Before reading this I had heard a lot of fans who watched the premieres didn't like it and it was only the critics that did but I really enjoyed it. I feel I have been neglecting Harry Potter and rereading the series should be on my to do list. However reading a story before I have seen it physically performed like I had with most of the other books made it more exciting. I had forgotten my love for Harry Potter but this has brought it back again. I'll have to reread the the series after everything else though so it may take a while to do.

I've missed the Percy Jackson world. So glad it's back though! Apollo is becoming my favourite God because of this book.
