I have come to realise that I don’t particularly like John Green’s writing.
And that’s completely okay.
John Green is amazing with deep, meaningful quotes and he did have some great ones that struck a chord with me. He also depicted anxiety brilliantly and brought to light how it can affect someone.
Yet there’s not really much going on in the book. I felt like I was expecting something to happen and it ended the same way it had started.

This was a hilarious short story and I love this world so much. There’s also great fanfics out there that’s keeping me entertained atm
I really loved reading Madeline Miller's take on Circe's story. I missed the flowerly writing style that Miller used in The Song of Achilles and was glad I got to experience that writing style all over again. You did have empathy for Circe throughout most of the book, but also at times you saw how different she was compared to the mortals, being a god and all. It was a great book to read and loved all the little nudges towards other myths along the way.
It took a long time to finish this book (with revision and exams and all) but I can see how the film Troy is a great disappointment to Homer's writing and they really did miss out on A LOT of things. Glad I was able go finish the book though. Virgil stole a lot of things from Homer too, they obviously didn't have copyright back then.
This was a really fun short story to read and the dynamic between the two friends, reminded me a bit like Sherlock Holmes and John Watson. I would like to read more of Tanizaki’s work and many other Japanese literature too.
