Short story. It was good. No page count but only took a few minutes to read.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I like the characters and the town setup. The town reminded me of Tombstone, which is a town I love visiting. I like the mixture of species: supernatural,  normals and tourists. Lol. I also like the mystery surrounding Olivia and what she may be. I'm looking forward to continuing this series.

I enjoyed the use of journals from the past to tell Henrietta and Susan's stories. I also enjoyed how Lily read one and Cassie the other. The characters were likable as was the town. Who doesn't  want to live in a haunted house with a widow walk and rich history?

This is a short play about the Deepwater Horizon event. I had a little trouble getting into the beginning. It felt so artificial.  But I kept listening and found it turned into a compelling and emotional story. I feel the actors did do a very good job bringing the emotions to life of this tragedy. It was easy for me to imagine this onstage. It is a good listen for those who are interested in learning about the spill and how it affected so many people.

I had this book for years. I came across it right before going to bed and thought I would glance at the recipes. It is now morning and I've finished the book. LOL. The book is about two childhood friends who reconnect after years of estrangement. I almost lost interest in the beginning. But as I was going through the recipes I kept reading the letters that accompanied them. The story is an emotional one of two friends who were brought together by family connection. They become estranged after certain events happen. They are flawed people who were raised by flawed people. I don't want to give away everything.
*There are several good recipes that are included and I adore the idea of a recipe club.*
A few of the topics include mental illness, abortion, lesbian relationship, and, of course, friendship, betrayal and forgiveness.
