I love Eve, I just love a strong female lead. I like that she was the one using a nickname and that she wasn't called fking "Little One" like every other woman out there. Rory also became so charming as they got settled. The whole pack brushing their teeth together was quite cute.

No one ever talked about STI's and pregnancy when they started banging!!!! Not even a MENTION of a condom or birth control!!!! And Kate has the magical quality where she can orgasm from just penetration, MUST BE NICE.

Props to Levi and Dakota for cleaning properly after anal before going for vagina (even though he really didn't seem to use proper lube going in, but can't win them all I guess). I'm honestly surprised this is the first time I've read a 2 in vag, 1 in ass scene given all the WY I've been reading lately.

Josh coming in with a bomb to his chest was wild, but honestly not as wild as Levi riding in with all the animals in the middle of a gun fight. They should have killed Lennox though, idk why they think the better option is letting him go to country jail.

I'm not a gourmand kind of gal so Dutch and Reese kind of sound a little gross to me, but I do like peaches and champagne and rainstorms so I'm like 50-50. I love that Dutch recognized her as Sol immediately from the ear freckles she didn't even know she had.

I like that Marisol has the real bark in the relationship.

The Wyverns did such a good job winning L back because they did some genuine real nose to dirt work on themselves.

At the beginning, I was like "wow I hope Craig dies" and I got my wish hehe. I like that Orion got the memo about her first cause he really has been the nicest to her. He doesn't really have anything to apologize for so I'm hoping half of the next book is them frolicking and falling in love while the others grovel for their fucking lives.

If Osen comes back to life, this will be the third RH book I've read where a ghost is part of the harem. It would have been an interesting dynamic if Flint had been asexual but still romantically involved with Jade.

I don't love the term "fur babies" but it does kind of feel more in line with an older millennial, which Jade is (I think).

What a shame about the lake house. I'd love to have a lake or beach house.

I don't love the "lowkey self-aware author" trope, but I do appreciate that it helped Jade accept the men quicker. I like that she's an older character but tbh she kind of reads like someone in their early to mid-twenties. But it may also just be that I don't love the writing style. "Alphahole" just really gives me the ick.

Calder cuddling with her animals was very cute, we love an animal lover.

The vision Circe had at the end was very reminiscent to the ending of Scrubs for me, in that it played out like a film in front of her eyes. Miller did a great job with Circe's voice and made her feel real to me. I love that Penelope got a happy ending and honestly, I don't mind Circe and Telemacus together.

I liked Trygon too, he seemed like a cool dude.

I think this story has good bones and that whole break-up and groveling could have hit much harder if it was a bit more fleshed out. I do appreciate that Avery took her time getting back together with the pack at least.

It's not super well written, which is a shame, but I am interested in seeing how the groveling goes in the next book.
