Thank you so much for this arc:)

I mean wooooow….. This was my first Coco Mellors book and I’m astonished. The writing is beautiful and gut wrenching. I love books with complex characters—story lines.

Grief is always changing and each person handles it differently. It also a complicity of family relationships and unconditional love.

Thank you for giving me this arc!

This is so creepy and morbid.

Interesting take on poetry. The writing leaves you questioning what you’ve read and felt very disturbed

Genuinely this book gave me a headache.

This was my first time travel/reincarnation book. I did not the way they both are having “dreams”  of each other but are always thinking of it in present time.  The fact that both are in relationships but yearn to be with each other because of dreams, not realizing they’re both actual people.

I would’ve enjoyed this more had the timeline been more clear and there wasn’t so much mix of what was happening.

Thank you so so so much for this arc.

I mean I absolutely love Lyla.

Teddy and Gus had been one of my most anticipated couples since reading Done and Dusted.

Their story felt like something you’d compare to quiet love. Something that just happens naturally and there’s no big epic gut wrenching confession but still fills your heart with joy.

This is probably the only book I wish was longer and had more to the story. I did feel like it was a bit rushed at the end. Also I would’ve loved a clear timeline of events.

I’m beyond excited to read Cam and Dusty ❤️

I was extremely excited to read this since it would be my second F1 romance book.

My opinion I love the new take of a female driver as we know the sport is male dominated. Which is probably the strongest part of the book. I felt like I didn’t see the chemistry between the two.

Thank you for giving me this arc.

Mixed between some of the short stories were really interesting and nicely written. And others I found it hard to get into some of the writing and stories.

Thank you for letting me review this arc!!

I’ve seen Drew of course through TikTok—I was interested in seeing her release a book!

This felt like I was watching one of her TikTok. An audiobook with her as the narrator would be epic. With that being said this felt like a good (although a bit repetitive) subject that feminists books have. I love that she put her experience but also multiple stages of life that made her her.

AHHH!!!!! This one had me on the edge.

Where do I start. I absolutely LOVE Lyra. She is so strong and unhinged. Her obsession was funny at time.

As for Thatcher I wish he didn’t fight his love for her so much but when they finally got together I could not stop blushing.

The only reason the rating is way is because I just don’t like blood play. I enjoyed everything else.

Spoiler for my third reason pls be advised

Where can I start…I’m extremely sad. This was one of my most anticipated reads of this year and it felt very different from Butcher and Blackbird. First I will say everything I loved about Leather and Lark.
1. I love LACHLAN KANE
2. The banter—the banter between Lark and Lachlan was amazing. It is my favorite part of the book—the swooning conversations.
3. THE WEDDING 🥹🥹🥹
4.  The sex scene 🥵🥵

Now about what I didn’t like.

1. I felt that the hate to love reason was invalid but also it felt dragged. More than half of the book Lark still held the first meeting against Lachlan. In my opinion I didn’t think he needed to apologize because he was there for a JOB. And he repeatedly explained what happened that night.
2. Chemistry/tension—I felt that the chemistry was lacking. In Larks point of views you don’t get much of her liking anything about Lachlan or really sympathizing with him. Sometimes throughout the book it seems forced between them. I love them individually but not as a couple.
3. The relationship between Sloane and Lark—-I mean I have to say this was the most disappointing to me. I felt like the relationship could’ve have been better. One thing I loved the most about BB&B was the relationship between the two. I don’t like that Lark couldn’t confide in Sloane to tell her what was going on but also how it involved her. Even towards the end no type of bonding or even acknowledgement that lark is also a multiple deleter.
4. The plot—I felt the plot was very lost in this process. Abe was completely forgotten about up until the last few pages of the book. The ending was rushed. I think there was so much focused on the back and forth and tension of them being together, that Abe showing up was resolved really quickly.

With that being said—I wish I could love this. I’m super excited for the next book as the end of the book did make me extremely excited for Rose and Fionn.
