This was so great. When I read it was compared to The Big Chill I immediately had to read it as TBC is my absolute favorite movie. This met all of my expectations.

This was fine. I don’t normally enjoy King’s book, but this kept me
engaged.

This was absolutely wonderful. It was heartbreaking and heartwarming and about motherhood and womanhood. It was not like anything I’ve ever read.

I’ve read one or two other Samantha Irby books and they are great for when you’re looking to laugh out loud.

I absolutely loved the chapter about SATC.

I did skip the Shit Happens essay just because I’ve read enough of about Irby’s bodily functions that I think I’m good lol

This so flipping good!! Ahh! I listened to this on a whim after reading the synopsis and comparisons to the movie HER, I figured what the heck, but was pleasantly surprised when I couldn’t stop and ended up listening to this in one single day!

This was like the movie HER but way more sinister, think The Stepford Wives but make it AI.

The dynamics between Annie (our bot) and Doug (her owner/bf) were so cringe but only in the way that you have heard of this guy before and how he treats his real life gf. The power play between male/female relationships, what makes us human, self actualization, Annie was just a human gal to me. Truly loved this one.
