i did not think a sequel could out do an already 5 star book but gong managed. this book was everything i could’ve asked for with twists and turns everywhere it was amazing and i would recommend this to anyone and everyone. all the characters were loveable and even the side characters shined. all in all an amazing book!

i struggled to rate this book because it is definitely a story that needs to be told and although i understand why lily made the decisions she did i was screaming at the book the whole time it made me so upset. i landed on 3 stars because i personally did not enjoy the book that much but it was an important story.

that was such a satisfying ending tbh! i loved this i literally read the last 150 pages in one sitting. i love the zumra and nasir and zafira are everything to me.

this was a good read esp mystery wise! i honestly wasn’t expecting a lot of the twists. the setting is also very cool 1400s korea cmon it’s awesome i also really liked the ending.

i really disliked this book. maybe it just wasn’t for me but i seriously wanted to dnf it multiple times. i finished it solely because i was too far in already. none of the characters appealed to me and the prose fell flat. none of the themes felt as deeply explored as i would’ve liked. i genuinely thought i was going to like this a lot but it wasn’t good 😭. it got an extra .5 because it made me laugh in a few spots.

i thought this book was really good and one i couldn’t not put down! i really liked both zafira and nasir. i don’t think i’ll fully processed this book so i might come back soon. OH the writing was really good and i was for real blushing at some of the scenes.

this is my favorite book in the entire raven cycle series and it’s just so good there are so many lines that are forever in my mind
