The Handshake Agreement by A. Akinosho was so good I didn’t want to put it down. If you like books about possessive MC, age gap, touch her and die, second chance romance then you will love this book.

Declan a playboy wanted to take over his father’s company, so they agreed Declan would marry the woman his father chose in a handshake agreement. Years later he meets Anne one of Sara’s best friends and he knows he’s met the one.

Anne Oyin is a beautiful and strong woman who works hard and can do it on her own. She is close to family especially her twin brother, takes in her best friend’s son after she passes, and her best friend/roommate Yinka. I love Yinka she’s the bff everyone wants.

They are about to get married when his father puts a stop to it immediately telling Declan to stay away from Anne or her life will be in danger. He has to stop all communication with her and she has no idea why. When he find a chance to get back to her he stops at nothing to make that happen and getting vengeance on everyone who came in between them.

I really enjoyed this book and the story. Loved how Declan fell in love with every part of Anne and how Anne didn’t make it easy for Declan putting her foot down when needed. My complaint about this book is the timeline and the ending. You knew time had passed in the book but you were never told how much. Things were happening you thought in real time only to realize that months or years have passed. I just wish the timeline between all of these instances was better established.  Other than that I enjoyed this book. I hope to get to read more of Akinosho’s books. Thank you to Passion Author Services and A. Akinosho for this ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Beyond the Blue Line by Kelly Moore was such a cute hockey romance. If you like books about small town, single mom, fake dating, forced proximity, grumpy/sunshine, hockey romance books then you will love this book.

The story line in this book was so good. Jake was raised by his father, his mother left after his little sister was born deaf. He wanted to be in the NHL not only to follow his dream but he felt responsible for taking care of his dad and sister. He also felt guilt for leaving them to pursue his career.

Piper’s sister could not have kids, so she decided to become a surrogate for her. One night her sister and brother in law passed away in a car wreck and she is left to raise her little girl with the help of her mother and best friend. Piper gave up her promising ice skating career to work hard to pay off the family’s debt and raise Kobe.

What started out as fake dating led to them learning to trust each other and going from enemies, to friends, to falling in love. I adored Jake’s relationship with Kobe and how she was sometimes smarter than him lol. The main characters were so well written but I loved the side characters just as much (the hamster too). I enjoyed this book but just wish it was longer. Thank you @SunnyBabepr for giving me this book as an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Second Chance Ex by Shann McPherson was such a great book. If you like books about sports romances, with lots of LOLs, ugly crying, wide open door spice, swoony golden retriever MMC, sweary unapologetic FMC, and 1989 vibes then you will love this book.

Joey Tanner is a pro footballer dated Prue Watson an elementary school teacher  in high school and college.  Tragic events ended their relationship, but their feelings for each other never changed. Years later they are forced together when their friends get engaged and they are chosen as part of the wedding party.

Prue and Joey’s reunion was such emotional ride. With the dual timelines you get to see what happened to get to where they are now. No matter how big he got he never stopped loving her and her parents never stopped supporting or loving him. There were parts that made me giggle and parts that were heartbreaking. The side characters were just as great at the MC’s. This was such a great book. Thank you SunnyBabe PR for this ARC for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Waiting to Love You: A Secret Baby Small Town Romance by A.J. Alexander is so good and I loved being back in Tyson’s Creek. If you love stories about second chance, small town, friends to lovers, surprise baby romance then you will love this book.

Bristol Reid grew up as a military kid with her father dedicating his life to the military. Feeling like her father loved the military more than her she made the decision to never date a man who was in the military. She meets Seth Williams they fell for each other but their relationship was short lived when he enlisted. Not too long after he leaves she learns she is pregnant and never let him know. Now that he is back and out of the military he is determined to win her back and she is afraid she is going to lose him bc she never told him he’s a father.

I love coming back to Tyson’s Creek and love these characters so much. These group of friends are the type of friends you wished you had in real life. Real true friends who are there and will forever be able to count on. I was so happy that we got to hear Bristol and Seth’s story. I love that he gave up everything he knew to be with Bristol and make a life with her. This is a must read series. I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Courted by Jennifer Chance is book one in the Gatekeepers of the Gods series and I loved it!!  Courted is a modern-day fairytale with some Greek Mythology.

Emmaline’s parents were injured in a car wreck so she postponed going to graduate school to take care of them. After some time has passed she decides to go on vacation traveling with her friends. Kristos, the Crown Prince of Ouros sees Emmaline drowning and rescues her while paparazzi captures the rescue.

This was such a sweet story and a great modern day fairy tale. The story was well written along with all of the characters. I love the relationship between Emmaline and Kristos. This was a quick read that I didn’t want to put down. I can’t wait for book two. I was given this book as an ARC in exhange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Well and Truly Pucked by Lauren Blakely is the fourth book in the My Hockey Romance series and wow so good!! If you love stories about why chose, ployamorous (M/M/M/F), reverse harem, friends to lovers, forced proximity, hockey romances then you will love this book.

I purchased the audiobook and I could not have asked for a better cast. The story was written well as were the characters. Each has their own story of their past that is so hard to talk about but I love how as they slowly got to know each other they opened up sharing parts of themselves with no judgements. I love that Briar wasn’t made to choose and Rhys, Gavin, and Hollis were so patient with her and supportive of each other.  Lauren Blakely has quickly become one of my favorite authors to read!! I was given this book as an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Nonna Maria and the Case of the Lost Treasure by Lorenzo Carcaterra is the final book in the Nonna Maria series it was so good. If you like stories with an assassin with a decades old grudge, a map handed down with a family secret, a hidden treasure in Ischia’s secret cavern then you will love this book.

This story takes place on the island of Ischia which is in the gulf of Naples, Italy. Nonna Maria is a widowed grandmother who has lived her entire life in Ischia. Nonna Maria always finds herself in a mystery and being a part of solving them.

The world-building is amazing and being that it takes place in Italy adds to the appeal of the book. The characters main and side were written so well. There was not a part of the book that didn’t keep me hooked. I love the way Lorenzo describes the island, the way he incorporates Ischia’s history, foods, cultures, and the traditions into the story is amazing. I enjoyed the mysteries and the fact that there was not just one but two. I want Nonna Maria as my Nonna!! I cannot wait to go back and was the first two books. I enjoyed this unputdownable page turning book!! Thank you to Random House and NetGalley for giving me this ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

If you like marriage of convenience, age gap, shattered dream, grief, self discovery, redemption, family saga then you will love this book.

I could not stop reading this book. The storyline was so well written, with one exception it wasn’t long enough. I have never read a book that made me so angry and yell like this book did. The drama was there and chemistry was off the charts. That cliffhanger left my heart broken. Read this book!! I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Make You Love Me by Alexandra Grace is book one in the You and Me series and is so freaking good!! If you love friends to lovers, forced proximity, healing together, right person wrong time, infertility rep, millionaire, pregnancy, mental health representation books then you will love this book.

Jordan Jones is a veteran was in an accident where he suffered a head injury and suffers from amnesia. Because of his amnesia he believes that he is in a relationship with his ex girlfriend Nora. His doctors do not want to hurt his recovery so asks everyone to go along with it.  Nora and Jordan were on/off again and bc of his amnesia thinks they are on. She reluctantly agrees to go along with it. Nora having been throughly so much in her past keeps people at a distance not wanting to get close to anyone.

This was such an emotional read and one I could not put down. The story was so well written and the characters, as well as the side characters, are amazing and so strong.  It felt like you were going through everything with the characters. I loved the love story between Nora and Jordan and the build up of sexual tension between them was done so well.  What I love about Alexandra Grace’s books is her representation of veterans and mental health. She is not afraid to write about the realities for veterans, their struggles when they are discharged from the military entering back into the civilian world and their mental health struggles. Not just the struggles the veterans but for their loved ones as well. She even created VETS in her books to help Veterans get the help they need and get back on their feet. Her love and respect for veterans is amazing and I learn a lot. I cannot recommend her books enough. I was given this book as an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.
