it wasn’t bad, but i didn’t click with this book… i don’t know why, but i just couldn’t really connect with the story. i liked the characters, but i feel like lenny needed professional help to deal with her grief, not only someone like miles to “save” her. also, some scenes came out of nowhere, but it was a quick and easy read. i know a lot of people loved this book, and i can see why, but it was just not for me

it’s a sapphic romance, so of course i couldn’t give this book less that 3 stars (i’m kidding….but not really). i liked it a lot, the story was cute and fun, i loved avery and taylor (don’t get me started on her “friends” though, because what was that?). however, it got slow around 70% and i feel like some scenes could’ve been shorter/removed. it was an easy read, even though the writing felt a bit weird at times - but i didn’t read the final copy, so maybe it was edited.
