Fairly average romance with poly representation thrown in. I do find it annoying that every book with poly rep is restricted to throuples, but that’s not a failing of this book alone. I found the writing pretty average, with some distracting typos. Overall for me would be a 2 but rated slightly higher since it’s so hard to find books with polyamorous rep. (I did enjoy the realistic depiction of the struggle of being outed as poly to friends/family).

I loved this book so much. I'm a huge fan of MMM and these three men were absolutely made for each other. Bas, Ezra, and Drew overcame so much but it was totally worth it in the end. All three men have vastly different careers and personalities but they bring out the best in one another. There was definitely some angst and some unsupportive family but there was also humor and intense sweetness. It might just be me and the mental state I'm currently in but I cried at THE HEA. It was just too perfect and sweet. I definitely recommend this book if you like sweet MMM romance.
I almost DNF'd at 85% cuz I was bored out of my freaking mind. But I pushed through just for the sake of finishing it.
Tbh, I like this author as they wrote Until You, but this book was nothing like that. It had a little banter between two characters but it felt more mean than teasing. I didn't connect with any of the MCs and the climax was so bland and boring. This book gave me nothing, I'm sorry to say.
Angst: 0.0

Summary - Drew and Bas are best friends. Bas has been in love with Drew for as long as he can remember but because he is Ace he doesn't think he can give Drew the relationship he deserves. When Drew meets Ezra it's meant to be a one night stand, but Drew can't get Ezra out of his head, the sparks that flew between the two of them is something he can't forget. When a chance encounter has Bas and Ezra meeting and becoming friends, Drews world becomes more complicated. Can these three make something work? Are these three really impossible or are they just inevitable?
What I thought about this book - I really enjoyed this book, it has been a while since I read an MMM book so it was really nice to get into that kind of dynamic again. I loved the characters and the relationship the three have and I also loved how they didn't try to change Bas from being Ace. I also love how they dealt with any issues and problems that arose within the relationship and how they worked as a team. I really enjoyed the writing style and the plot. Overall this was a fantastic book and I cannot wait to read more by this wonderful author.

Very cute book about the development of a triad. Bas, who is ace; Drew, his BFF from childhood; and Ezra, the missing piece from a rough background who makes them work.
It's a bit formulaic. It has so many similarities to Until You, which I had just finished and loved. A character who only does 1 night stands. The characters don't need to be married but exchange rings (as a practical person, I want to make sure they have ironclad wills and advanced directives and medical powers of attorney if they aren't going to get married. The fight for gay marriage wasn't symbolic -- it was, in part, because the title of spouse has legal meaning which is hard to replicate.)
I did love watching then figure out how they're stronger together. But I wanted more-- it seemed a bit too simple. They all just kind of shrugged and were like, well, It's not normal, but it's our normal, and everything was fine. There would 100% be more to their acceptance of it than that. Also, I don't want them to refuse to be their authentic selves for anyone. But - don't pretend a polyamorous relationship isn't surprising and a bit shocking to people.
I also wanted more about how their relationship worked, on a basic level. There are only 2 sides of the bed!! How does that work?? Also, what the heck bed is big enough for 3 grown men to share regularly?? Also, I feel like having an ace character is super cool. But the way sex was handled was too simple. I liked the going to the opera metaphor, thought it was great. But how did Bas feel when Ezra and Drew had sex without him? Really, he had no feelings of being left out? If you're saying be regularly joins in. We need tonsee more of that and how it really works if he truly is ace.
The extreme focus on Drew's family took away from what I actually wanted to be reading.
Also, I want more about Ezra's life. The beginning with him becoming homeless was intriguing, and I wanted to know more about how he became so strong and resourceful. But then he kind of had a personality change into the only mature one in their relationship.
Also, there were some typos - places where the wrong name was used. Probably because the style of randomly switching point of view characters was unnecessarily unclear.

Once again this author has blessed us with an absolutely brilliant book. Well crafted with strong character development, perfect pacing and a story telling ability that wouldn’t allow me to put this book down. It kept me fully engaged and had me smiling,
sighing, laughing and feeling a bit emotional at times.
A prickly college student, Ezra, a charming musician, Bas, and a logical lawyer, Drew navigate their way to a well balanced, beautiful HEA. There’s complications to overcome along the way but after a few twists and turns their love for each other overcomes any and all obstacles.
Expect chemistry between these very likeable characters, some steamy scenes, a bit of angst, some feels and some lovely romantic moments.
“You two are my heart,” he said like it was the simplest and most obvious thing in the world.
A truly wonderful book that I thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

This book gave me a pleasant surprise if you are looking for a polyamorous relationship MMM well written this is your book. Ezra became one of my favorite characters was like the glue that was needed between Drew and Bas.
Drew and Bas are more than best friends, but Bas does not feel that he is completely compatible with Drew and that is why they do not take the next step to be something more. When Drew meets Ezra he never imagined what was going to change his life and Bas's as well.As the novel progresses, not only the attraction between them but also the feelings grows and the author really does it in a credible and realistic way. All the characters have their own problems that they have to cope with in order to make the relationship work.
I really highly recommend them. I want this physical book now.
