Did this book include every bit of minutiae that seems to appear in every book about running? No. Did it inspire me to look at running as part of my lifestyle instead of just something I do to lose weight or stay fit? Absolutely. I loved Arzon's passion for running and passion for life, and her ability to keep it real. While not an exhaustive or encyclopedic work about running, there are plenty of those. There aren't a lot that inject color and flavor and fun into running, but this one definitely did.
This book was ok. It’s all over the place but it did provide some inspiration. It’s better for a new runner. I was hoping it would provide more ways to lace up when your tired or lazy.
Had to get this book from one of my favorite Peloton instructors! I’m not in the running mode right now, going hard on my Peloton journey, but this book made me want to put on my shoes and go for a run! Robin’s story is incredible and she has a lot of great knowledge that can be applied to anyone’s life.

Robin has some great tips for fueling your body, focusing your mind, and setting intention. She also does a good job of explaining the technical running jargon that always go over my head.

If you are at all interested in running this is a great beginner/intermediate book. Easy fast read that held my attention with LOTS of helpful practical tips and tricks.
Definitely something to revisit when/if training for a race. The book felt like a long instagram post, with awesome visuals, great quotes, and some seriously motivational and helpful stories/tips. Love Robin's peloton classes, and this book kinda felt like hanging out with her, very real.
