This is such a good book. I’m pretty amazed at how relevant so much of the book still is over a hundred years later. You’ve got girls wanting to fit in at school, siblings fighting, a new wife getting overwhelmed by a difficult task and taking it out on her husband, struggling between being successful in the world and keeping one's integrity, and of course, love, sickness, jealousy, and so much more. I also love that the characters are doing their best to please God and live for Him. They fail many times but they get back up and try again.

Once you start noticing how often the word 'little' is used in Little Women you cannot unsee it.

For example, in chapter one alone, we have-
