I cannot decide whether to rate this book a 3 or a 4. I am deciding on a 4 because what it does well, it does very well.
Maggie has sworn off romantic relationships due to a bad experience with her ex-fiancé. Her best friend, Ava, decides they need to try to date and they make a bet to go on one date a month. If they don't, then they other the other person a day at the spa. This bet is complicated by Tyler moving into the apartment upstairs. Maggie and Tyler are attracted to one another. Tyler is unavailable for a romantic relationship, and you find out why half way through the book.
The best part about this book was the dialogue. The dialogue between Maggie and Tyler, as well as among Ava, Ford, and Sam was fantastic and witty. The sexual chemistry between Maggie and Tyler was also fantastic. The relationships between the friends were amusing to read. The sex scenes were well written and not over the top. Based on all of this, I would rate the book 5 stars.
So why am I debating a 3 star rating? I did not like Tyler's big reason for not wanting a relationship. I also did not finish the book, but kept going solely due to the dialogue. I also felt it ended abruptly with some untidy ends.
That said, I will likely read the next book in the series as I would love to see things play out between Sam and Ava.

The story probably deserves a 4.5 star rating but I couldn't connect with the writing. This was my first book of the author and she just didn't work for me.
The story was a good one. I liked their banter, the concept, the gang. I liked Maggie, Tyler, Ava,Sam, Ford. I'm actually looking forward to Sam and Ava's book. But the author explains each detail so explicitly that it gets borderline boring. I skipped a few passages and at the end I was just rolling to finish the novel.
And I was really disappointed with the ending. You know the feeling when you feel like you heard something and pick up a cricket bat just in case whereas it turns out to be nothing?
That's how sapping the end was. It was abrupt and didn't appease me.
But this could all just be me and you could love the bobook. So if you like a fun contemporary romance. The enemies turned lovers type? Then be sure to pick it up.

There is nothing that I love more than to have a whitty heroine that banters with a sexy hero; and this book has it! Maggie and Tyler have had a razzing style relationship from the very beginning, which leads to several laugh at loud moments. While the fun banter between these two is never ending...so is the sexual tension. While I wouldn't necessarily consider this an erotic romance, there's definitely some scorchingly hot sex scenes that will leave you begging for more.
The writing style that Ms. Kelly had in this book was great. The plot had a good variety of ups and downs (though at times could be a tad predictable) and the characters were fabulous. I really enjoy books that have characters that will make you giggle and have you wishing that you could be friends in real life.

This was the first book I ever read by Mira Lyn Kelly. It came as a surprise to me how much I enjoyed the characters and the whole story. The pace is just right. These are characters who are flawed and who are presented as such - with an attitude and a temper! Tyler is dreamy and Maggie is the girl for him. Their friends are those meddling, inquisitive, curious ones who drive you insane and that you secretly (or not so secretly) wish you had. The banter had me smiling the whole time. Great love story. Loved it.

I liked it more than I thought I would.
My heart BROKE for Tyler. I wish I got a little more about Maggie's situation with Kyle, but it wasn't bad enough to destroy the book for me or anything.
I am confused as to why it is called Truth Or Dare when the game was only mentioned once and wasn't a prominent part of the story.
Overall, awesomeness and I can't wait for the sequel.

Solid writing, good characters, and an interesting story this book was definitely a good read. Nothing earth shattering but a nice read that I would totally recommend to others.
