Woohoo another Ward/Keeland collaboration has hit my Kindle!
And as with the previous 2 (Cocky Bastard and Stuck Up Suit) I was hooked from the first word to the last.
A meeting at an airport, an adventure around the world - who wouldn't want to just fly away on a "Magical Mystery Tour"?
That is "A Day In The Life" of Kendall Sparks. She has some serious soul searching to do, but why not do that as she is "Flying" .
Carter is the playboy pilot - been there and done that with all the sky slut cabin crews, he is not one to be tied down. And he has this theory.
"If you think about almost any given moment in life, there's a Beatles song that can describe it."
I freaking love this theory and plan to try it out.
From their first moment, I could just feel the attraction leap off the page. But it is so much more than that.
Kendall and Carter together are just a thing of beauty. They are fun, they are feisty, they are sweet and sexy.
There was so much more to Carter though. "Every Little Thing" he did made me a little more enamoured with him. But for Kendall "It's All Too Much" and at the first hurdle she is outta there.
Grrr why do they do that? It is called communication people! Just do it!
But I guess it is a "Long and Winding Road" to true love and happiness, so a few road blocks should be able to be overcome... Will they "Get Back" together?
For that you will have to read for yourself!
Playboy Pilot is a fun, sexy, sweet and adorable story that left me wanting more I reckon I could read this book "Eight Days A Week" and never get tired of it.

*4 Stars*
Oh man. Carter Clynes. Where can I get me one of those? Anybody who reads this book and doesn't fall in love with his character is bonkers in my opinion. He was my favourite part of the book. I liked his character more than Kendalls. I won't say much, but if you haven't read this book already, jump on it - like NOW! Also, the ending. *swoon*. Vi and Penelope never go wrong when they team up together. Highly recommend.

Spoiler
I really liked this book because it talked about a lot of the same things that I believe in like going with your gut and taking things as signs that you're doing the right thing.
The book also mentioned a theory about how there are song lyrics that correlate with different things we say, which I totally believe except I do it with all songs, not just the Beatles.
The reason I gave this book 4 stars is that I thought the whole flight attendant being pregnant with Carter's baby was really random and it didn't fit with the other things happening in the book. It was just too cliche.
I also didn't really like the epilogue, I felt like it was put there randomly just because readers ALWAYS ask for them. It didn't feel like it went with the book. I could've done without it.
FAVORITE QUOTES:
"At times, life without a little thrill is boring, beautiful."
"This is Seth, Rachel, and Emma. My son's kids. He married a bitch on wheels but she gave me the gift of grandchildren, so I tolerate her."
4 stars I enjoyed it some parts I was like wth/ so annoyed but it was so I read it as a audio book

As per usual both authors deliver an easy and enjoyable read.
This time, though I took up issue with continuity errors. Sometimes I don't have issued with a few of those, but this time there was one glaring and one that was a bit more subtle.
They both have birthday on fourth of July, and in their meeting Kendall mentions that she is about to turn 25 (basically the whole plot of the book is based on this little titbit). And then at the end of the book they are having their two-year anniversary of meeting each other for the first time... On July 28th. Like wtf?
The other one is neither here nor there with Carter meeting Anabelle and her mentioning that she doesn't know if she'll lose the estate because she hasn't met her daughter, as it has been 11 months since Kendall and Carter last met, and then seemingly out of the blue Kendall says to Carter that the inheritance has been given to charity, even though we see that timeline is still 'a bit more than 11 months' since meeting for the first time, which (even though the first error says that fourth of July does come soon after July 28th) means she still would be 25 at that time.
And although the collaborations between the two authors I usually like better than their separate work, considering how much I am bothered by errors such as these, I cannot give anything better than 3/5.

I'm in the minority here but this one was not for me. A lot of reviews said we'd love Carter from the start but I was creeped out, it read like a crappy slasher movie where the dumb heroine followed the hot guy and gets murdered in a foreign country! From the reviews I read when trying to decide whether or not to continue reading it, it appears she doesn't get any smarter so DNF for me.
